Chairmans Reports 2008
January
Our first meeting of 2008 was attended by what must be a club record. 39 members attended a super demo by Dave Register. Dave demonstrated colouring and texturing,loosely based on his articles in the Woodturning magazine.
Our monthly projects table was crammed full with some superb examples of members works. Unfortunately we forgot to take photographs, this is something we must correct in the future.
Our next meeting is our club annual dinner at Brent House restaurant. I expect this to be well attended and hope to put some photographs on our website.
The next club meeting on Feb 19th is a hands on and social evening.There will be 2 lathes and tools available for any member to have a go.This is also an opportunity to share ideas and have a natter.
The new club website is proving to be very popular but we need more Photographs of members work. Also any tips, ideas or articles.
